Porter and Gunn Associates have many years experience in successfully challenging and reducing Rateable Values for our clients.
Business rates are charged by local authorities based on rateable values set by the Valuation Office Agency (VOA).
The VOA's opinion of value is subject to challenge and will often be excessive.
There are numerous schemes of rates relief potentially available to ratepayers, but these are not always applied by local authorities as they should be.
Our business rates specialists have the expertise to ensure your liability is not a penny higher than it should be. We will challenge rateable values where necessary and also ensure your bill is correctly calculated.
There are new rules relating to how business rates is calculated starting from April 1st 2017. Many of our clients will be completely exempt from rates from this date. Why not see if you can join them? Call us on 07473 920186.
